The Shakespeare Society of America
Tribute to Thad Taylor

Thaddeus spent the last forty years of his life dedicated to instructing and advancing the Works of William Shakespeare.

He shared the treasures of the Shakespeare Society of America with scholars and theatre professionals from at least thirty countries.  Thad designed, built and operated the world famous SSA Globe Playhouse in West Hollywood.  He was a fountain of inspiration and wisdom to hundreds and possibly thousands of producers, directors, actors and actresses.

Finally, Thaddeus was an extremely tenacious businessman who endured total personal sacrifice and humility for many years to insure the Shakespeare Society of america would survive and exist to display the fruit of his effort far beyond his lifetime.

May Robert "Thaddeus" Taylor rest in infinite peace, knowing that the most

professional, loving, devoted effort is being made to share  the fruit he lived

to produce and continue the mission for which he dedicated his life.
